With the wings rigged I could secure the wires and tubes that run to the wings.  The first two pictures show them now tied down.  This is the area of the wing root rib that I modified to allow me to get my hands in to attach the flap bolts.  It helped a great deal but it is still quite a pain.  Picture three just shows a flap attached to a rod end bearing.  After it is all adjusted you install a cotter pin and test that the rod is threaded deeply enough into the bearing.  There is a small hole on the unseen surface of the bearing that I drilled a long time ago specifically to be able to prove the rod end was in deep enough.

The last picture is a mystery piece that will be explained shortly.
