Next up was getting the control surfaces back on the wings. That has started in the first picture and you can just barely see that the ailerons are on in the second picture.  They are not rigged yet. Each of the control surfaces needs some small cotter keys in the hinges to keep the hinge pins from sliding out.  I had held off doing this until the final assembly.

During this process, which was during the week before Oshkosh, this Stearman showed up at Gary on its way up to Oshkosh.

In the last picture, the control surfaces are on and everything is fully rigged, and safetied.
