I was going to finish the plans page that the phenolic pieces were on but it meant I would have to have the garage door open to cut some longerons.  I decided to hold off for warmer days.

So I decided to try working with stainless and make the upper firewall assembly. All the stainless pieces are provided precut in the kit two pieces for the tank filler area have to be bent.

For the piece in the first two pictures I just used the hand seamer. The material bent easily.

The second piece had four bends wider than the hand seamer so I used the wing rib forming method. Secure it with a good edge and whack it with a rubber mallet. It also came out just fine.
