With the crank and the cam in place it was time to put the two halves together.  The first picture shows the left case half all prepped for gasket material.  I didn’t take any pictures of the material after I applied it.

The cases are then joined.

      In these two pictures you can see some of the case bolts tying the halves together. There are six main case bolts – that can be seen in the first picture – and about a dozen smaller ones around the perimeter of the case.
