Although not shown, I tapped all the holes in the frame to complete it. With the frame finished, as seen in the first two pictures, it was time to finish the canopy and install it.  I wanted the holes backed up as I drilled and the method shown in the third picture worked fine. I just held a small 2x4 block to the one side and drilled from the other. The forces nicely balanced and I put no strain on the canopy.  The last picture is before all the updrilled holes have been deburred.
