The piece has all the finishing machining done in the first two pictures, including two notches in the upper surface.  These were what I was most worried about messing up, but they came out very nice.

Pictures three and four show a couple of drawer pulls that attach to the locking piece.  I had already drilled the holes three inches apart but the simple drawer pull called out in the plans and what I wanted only came 3.5” wide.  They had a plastic one but the plans call for a metal one.  I went with the second one because the first one interferes with the little spring mounting tab shown in the fourth picture.
