Then I rolled it out so I could rearrange the garage as seen in the last picture.  I also powered up the plane from the battery and the GPSes could get a signal for the first time. The plane figured out where it was and both the attitude indicator and compass got a work out.

I had been waiting for the weekend but on Saturday, I was short two sons who couldn’t make it.  As it turned out, a friend of my neighbor, who I had shown the plane to before, was talking to my neighbor and asked him if I had finished the plane.  My neighbor told him I happened to be working on it.  He loaded up his car with his sons and their friends and came over to see it. They got a tour and then helped get the plane on the ground.  My daughter was teasing me because I never got anyone’s name or took a picture, but they had a good time.
