It was a very good week, but don’t think I’m going to start right off with the highlight!

With the gear finished, I had to wait until I had enough help to get the plane on the ground. While waiting, it was time to move on. One thing I had to do was actually finish up the nose gear. I had left off some cotter pins and held off on final adjustments until I was sure it would be ready to go. No pictures of that but it only took an hour or so.

Then it was time to start making parts for the canopy and windscreen.  These pictures are of one little piece that will be the guide pin for aligning the canopy when closing and locking it.  Start with a AN bolt, cut off the head and shape the end.
