And how will that power get to the battery you ask? Through this item.  I must admit to some embarrassment over this item. I recently read on the Sonex Yahoo boards of a nice simple homemade ground power attachment that didn’t seem too hard to make, but no, I had this in mind so this is what I was going to get.

I must confess that I had never seen the Cessna style ground receptacle close up or held one in my hand.  Let’s just say that I think I could run a 100amp service to a house through this thing and its weight will have an impact on CG!!! It is going in to the plane because I can’t wait for all the conversations this piece will start.

The last item is the gascolator and is getting fitted to the firewall now as well.
