To rig the controls, there are some things I still had to do either because I deferred doing them until now or I didn’t know I needed to do them!
This page is the later. I had noted long ago, that when mounting the rod end bearings, the plans call for checking that the rod end was engaged at least to the minimum depth. To do this you check that the witness hole is fully blocked by the rod end. The first picture below shows three rod end bearings. The one on the right is how they all came. The other two now have witness holes that I drilled. No big deal really, just had to set up a temporary jig and do all nine.
