The first picture shows the left rudder cable attached to the cable adjuster, one of two I had to make from 1 1/2” x 3/16” bar stock I had to rip down on the band saw. The pedal is held to 3/8” from the firewall and the rudder is full left.

      The next step is to clamp the rudder into the neutral position, adjust the rudder pedals to be even and mark and drill the right cable adjuster. The first picture shows the odd clamping procedure I used to hold the rudder neutral for this step. The second picture is after the cable has been attached and shows the nose gear drive rod attached.

      The last two pictures show full left and right travel. The pedals move very smoothly but there seems to be some very minor binding of the nose gear shaft when trying to make very small, gentle changes in the rudder.  The nose gear bearings may need just a little more reaming.  I have to determine what is really binding first.
