The flaps and flap control rods are attached in these pictures. In the first picture you can just see the end of the flap control rod attached to the drive arm. Yes, it is a very tight fit to get your hands in there, but it wasn’t as hard as I expected.

In the second picture, the flap handle is in the 30° down detent. In this position, I can remove the bolt and make ± half turn adjustments to the rod end bearing to set the flap in the correct position.
