Up next was a long planned assembly. When I built the aft fuselage, I had not decided for sure if I was building the lowered seat mod. The position of two channel pieces is dependent on the choice. Now that the choice was made, I installed the two vertical channels that guide the elevator control rod. I took the bottom skin off to do this and some other work (remember, it is not riveted on for this very reason. It will be one of the last pieces riveted on the plane because of future access needs).

          The two rivets inside the channels of each of the next two pictures were the rivets I couldn’t get to when I finished the aft fuselage. I knew I would be turning it over so I waited until now to get them in. The last two pictures are just unusual views of the interior of the aft fuselage upside down with the bottom skin off.
