It may seem like forever, but it is only three weeks since the last post. I got a lot of important stuff done but it may not seem like a lot of progress. What has held me back? You name it: flying; several fun family events; minor but out of the blue illness (but I didn’t eat any tomatoes?); and a White Sox game! Lets get started. All the forward fuselage, lower channel pieces where fitted but not yet updrilled. Updrilling was next. I started by finally updrilling the splice plates for the bolt holes. These four photos show some of these holes progressing to the final size. All the bolt holes are now done for the splice plates and the engine mount attach fittings.
