In addition to the slots, there are two oddball holes that need to be cut into the longerons to hold the bow for the windscreen. Those are shown in the first picture. The second picture is after all the pilot holes have been drilled.
      Then I added the two phenolic backing plates for the slots and an aluminum backing plate for each of the oddball holes.
