I’ve finally finished all of the angle pieces for the forward fuselage side skins.  All 26 of them! Plus some minor assemblies.

The final pieces were just as difficult as the rest. The pictures below are of my successful left upper longeron. The first attempt was not successful. I had to cut another one.

There are two slots in the left longeron for the canopy latch – it hinges on the right. The slots are 5/32” wide.  I drilled a series of 1/8” holes and knocked out the middles with my Dremel cut off wheel.  I then used a 1/8” rasp to rough cut the hole so I could fit a file in.  The file needs about 9/64” to get into the slot so I can’t take much off.  It worked out OK – the second time.
