I slid the frame back onto the table and just had a good look.  Of course all the silver clecos mean that I still have to updrill all those new holes in the turtle deck skin.

      So instead of doing that I decided I needed to play around a little bit.

      Here are both stabilizers placed on the frame. They are not close to actual positions. The horizontal stabilizer is about an inch aft of where it should be and the rudderless vertical stabilizer is several inches aft of that.  It’s the best that can be done for a quick look.

      It looks very nice.

          I also forgot how nicely polished these pieces were.  I could use them as a mirror for shaving.  You can tell it is a reflection not only by the camera but by the out of focus rivet holes in the surface of the stabilizer.
