Big post with lots to report – of course we must start with the mundane.

The first parts I made were the four fairleads. I made them the day before I went to the Sonex Workshop.  I had never worked with the material and I had a couple of issues making them.  It was fun but I put them away and waited to see if they would pass muster after I built for awhile.

They didn't. I have since perfected my drill press setup and material cutting techniques and decided to remake them.  Here are the four old ones, including the one I had some problems with.
      And the remade ones. I will install them without the center fittings so that I can run the premade rudder cable that came with the kit.
