Last post I had finished the first round of drilling. That just got all the pieces locked together in final position.  The next two rounds of drilling got all holes drilled to pilot hole size and then some of the holes to finished size.

In the second picture below I have just started to do the second round of drilling, getting all holes drilled to the smallest size.

I also took a picture of the combination square setup I mentioned in the last post.  This time it was just to double check as the spars are already locked in place by the first round of drilling.  The pictures illustrate how I used the tool.  It is set to space of 7 19/32” between the heads.  You can see that the spars are beveled so that the distance measured is between the peaks of both spars.  It was a perfect fit.
