Here I am doing the very first rivets on the project. It was really exciting to make these parts.  Before riveting all the holes I drilled were deburred on both sides of each piece.  If you are counting, that’s four surfaces at minimum for each hole.  Since there are about 10,000 rivets or bolts in a Sonex, I had a LOT of deburring ahead. It is also necessary to remove all tooling marks from the edges of all the pieces. I used a file or scotchbrite pads as required to make all the edges smooth with no nicks.
