To say that Saturday was hot and humid is an understatement. We provided lots of cool drinks starting at the house and brought them to the airport.  With my airplane exposed to the heat and direct sun for the first time, I found a couple of minor expansion issues with the canopy. It took a little emergency sanding to get the canopy to close.  We strapped on the cover and I taped its leading edge to prevent the slipstream getting up and under it.
