That was all preamble to the main part of the day, loading the fuselage and getting it all to the airport.  After the wings were secure, Dave Waterman and his wife Patty arrived with the trailer for the fuselage as scheduled.  So did my kids and their friends.  We all took a break for pizza and then it was time to get to work on the fuselage.

After some trials we came up with a lift method and distribution of muscle that got the job done very swiftly and safely. We doubled up some two by fours and put four guys up front and two guys at the rear.  We lifted it up and shuffled forward until the nose was on the trailer and then just rolled it forward.
