This is the final harness. There was one more minor power harness to the Enigma that I made but didn’t show, but this one is for the radio and is the most complicated. The pin crimping is the same but in this case the pins are female. Because of that, the testing of the cable is a little different. I still tested outside of the shell, but once the pins are inserted, I used this male pin with some wire attached as a place to hook up the test leads.
The radio specs call for the power wire to be 18awg but the pins won’t take that big of a wire. The specs also say to jumper the power cable in the shell to an adjacent pin. The third picture shows my solution to the problem, half the wire in one pin, the other half in the other pin.
