The first two pictures show another fairing that had to be made. This was quite simple and it will install against the fuselage and cover the gap between the flap and the fuselage. I will not install this until after the plane has flown and no more adjustments of the flap position will be needed.

Then it was shop maintenance time. I have two 15 amp circuits in the garage. One supplies the lights, all of the small power tools and the shop vac.  When I use the shop vac with one of those tools, I switch it to the other circuit. That other circuit always has the freezer on it. I then have a 15 amp power cord with only one receptacle on it that is either plugged into the compressor, the cross cut saw or the shop vac.  It is easy to manage power this way since there really aren’t any conflicts.

However, in the winter, I also run an electric heater. It is plugged into the same box as the freezer. I can’t run the heater with any of the large power tools at the same time so winter operations get a little tricky sometimes. A few days ago, I briefly heard a crackling sound but could not locate a souce. Yesterday, when I turned on the heater I heard it again and traced it to the box the heater and the freezer are on. I was using a box that converted the two way box to a six way. This converter predated airplane building and was not really needed anymore as I only run two devices on this outlet.

As you can see in the first picture below, there was a bit of a problem.  I had some left over outlets and installed a nice ground fault outlet.  The prior box was downstream from another ground fault outlet and was wired to it in a way that gave it protection also, but now it has its own.
