With those minor issues done, I got out all the main gear components. Some of these parts needed prepping. The axle assembly was powder coated and needed to have the protective wrap removed.  Like the nose wheel, the wheel halves needed to have flashing removed.  Unlike the nose gear, these wheels do not have sealed bearings so I will have to pack them. Also these wheels have a brake drum and brake shoe mechanism. Also on the table are the two titanium rods that are the main gear legs.

The tires and tubes that are shown are old and worn. Chris Williams needed a pair but his order was on backorder so I swapped him mine for his new ones when they came in. They didn’t come in!  As it turns out, most everybody has run out of them and everybody is waiting for the boat to come in from Taiwan for new ones.  Chris let me use these old ones until the new pair arrived (which they did, shortly after I picked these up).
