With the nose gear on, I decided now would be a good time to assemble the drive arm that connects the nose gear to the rudder.  I had to remove a lot of the powder coat and ream the bushing as shown in the first picture. The pieces are test fitted in the second, and finished up in the third and fourth.

          I automatically reached for a nylon insert locking nut and put it on, but this piece is forward of the firewall so that is a no no. I replaced it with the correct all metal self-locking nut. I also replaced the two nuts holding the stop plate to the engine mount with these as I used the wrong nuts there too.
