The first picture shows strut mounted to the engine mount, which in turn was remounted to the airplane. The second picture shows the now compressed spring which has essentially been preloaded to the weight of the engine.

Like magic, the stops that limit the travel of the bolt and bushing appears in the third picture (with the bolt pointing straight ahead just like the wheel in the following picture). Note the freehand trimming that had to be done to fit the plate around one of the support stuts.

          The final pictures show the full travel of both the wheel and the control arm.
