With the new piece ready, I started making up the assembly. Basically the long channel will connect up to the fuselage and rear spar on the wings. The pieces added shown being attached to the channel will beef up the connection to the rear wing spars on each side. In addition, the longer set of angles will attach to the channel, rear wing spar and fuselage sides. All in all the rear spar bolt will pass through 5/8” of material hear. The attachment point is shown by the 1/4” pin that is in place to align these pieces.
