With the assembly completed, it could be fitted in place on the fuselage. Note, I have not riveted this assembly together yet as called for in the plans. I don’t plan on even updrilling the instrument panel until much later. I will drill the glare shield to final size holes where it attaches to the fuselage and firewall, but I will also not rivet it until later to ease future assembly work.
      Next up was to slip in the fuel tank and see if it fit. It fits pretty well!
