We kept rolling along and the forward tunnel Z was next. It is clamped in place here and the pilot holes through the lower flange and fuselage skin have already been drilled and clecoed. These two pictures also show the necessity for removing the unriveted pieces for access to drill the holes in the tunnel Z through the vertical angle.

We did get ahead of ourselves here and actually installed the aft tunnel assembly before we drilled the holes. We took it out and drilled most of the holes and then Dad had to leave for the day.

Today I got the aft tunnel assembly back in place and drilled it to the fuselage skin and the vertical angles.

The first picture shows the growing cleco army holding pieces to the fuselage lower skin. The second picture shows the pilot drilled splice plates. These were done before Dad had to go on Wednesday.
