The first pictures are of those tight quarters, the first channel forward of the aft most channel.  Bolts hold the bottom angle to the rear skid  support and the upper channel will be part of attachment to the horizontal stabilizer. Remember, these pictures are of the assembly upside down.

For you Sonex builders that don’t recognize the doubler angles on the channels, this is a fix to a screwup in drilling the side holes in the channel.

      Moving one set of channels forward I start attaching the bottom cross ties and, at this location, the upper angle that will also be part of the horizontal stabilizer attachment.  The clecos will be repositioned on the outside when I turn the assembly over and those holes will all be riveted from the top down.
