Back to parts. There are eight kit supplied, pre-cut 3/16”splice plates that are part of the structure holding the forward fuselage to the aft fuselage.  These have very rough edges that had to be smoothed with the vixen file and a chamfer along one edge. These two pictures show how I did them.
      The first picture is of the first two simple ones completed. The second one shows the rest all done.  Notice that six of the eight also had to be bent slight amounts.  It took a little work but I have no pictures of that patented (vice, hammer, oak quarter round edge, hit) process.

      The third picture shows how they sit together inside of angle stock.

      And then it’s into the completed pile.
