Ok, head on, rocker assembly in place and adjusted. I checked and double checked both rocker assemblies and both heads and finally…

…Ta da, valve train is in place.

      Next up, more stud issues.  The two into one exhaust option that I got requires that these studs come off.  As it turns out, in the new head they came out easy, but in the old head they seemed to be epoxy’d in or something.  I had to heat the base of the stud for about two minutes with a propane torch to get the material to break down.  The studs came out easily then.

      The bottom two pictures show the gunk still in the threads and the last one shows how I nearly ruined the thread on the first stud I tried to remove without heat.  I left enough on purpose but had to cut down the stud some because I could no longer start a nut on it.
