Well, how do you like my propeller!  Just a little more work and I think it will be airworthy.

I have to rotate the crankcase when doing various steps and as I add parts it starts to get harder to turn with just the hub. I have several pieces of scrap from the wing stands in this shape, so I added one for crank turning.

Notice the blue tape in the first picture. I have all of the inlets covered so no debris will get inside when I trim some of the studs.  As it turns out I have now had to do this several times.  I didn’t realize the studs would be in the way in several places.  The manual just says to check and if a little trimming is needed just cut them down.  I thought that it would be unusual, but I think it is the norm.  I have ended up trimming 12 of the 16 studs and I may still do the last four.

The second picture shows me in my metal trimming getup.

These two pictures show the only two studs per side I knew I would have to trim.  These two are trimmed to clear the Sonex intake manifold, a portion of which is seen in the second picture.
