Nothing has happened beyond the previous page in these four pictures. I just took these to show what I spend a lot of time looking at doing nothing. I just love the wing in this stage. With both aft skins on and no leading edge skin, the view is a hybrid of the pure frame and the box beam formed by the skins and spars.
The scale of all the pieces, rivets, spar caps, spar web and aft skins that make up the primary wing box area just look strong, purposeful and well engineered. It has been a pleasure to build and have all these pieces come together correctly. I waste a lot of time staring at it so I thought I would share them, I’ll understand if they don’t have the same impact on you as they do on me.
