These two pictures show the right spar starting to be laid up.  The left spar is also in the picture. All holes have been drilled in the left spar to the final size, as well as countersunk and dimpled as required.  There is still a lot of work on the left however, it needs to be deburred and all the pieces need to have all of the tooling marks removed.  That’s a big job by itself. Then it has to be riveted with solid rivets, which is what I have been dreading.

The plan is to deburr and clean up both spars at the same time.  Then I will rivet one right after the other.

      These two pictures show the right spar with the various angles now attached with a few clecos.  Like the left spar at this point, all the holes are smaller than finished size.

      The spar caps have been attached in these two pictures but they have not been drilled yet.  I have clamped the far end together in preparation for drilling them.
