Yes, I have started on the right main spar. First, a look at the finishing up of the left spar. The first picture below shows the countersunk .125” center web. The second picture shows the .032 aft web dimpled and on top of the center web. The right spar layering will be a little different. The center web will still be countersunk, but the 12 foot .032 main web will be dimpled and on top.
This picture shows the dimple die in position for dimpling the aft web. It works just like the rivets but the nail doesn’t break off, it is reused. I did all the dimples with one nail. It will fail at some point, but you just use another nail.
