It became obvious that working with the plans while building the larger structures was going to be a problem.  When I built the table, I had thought about putting in a plans drawer but decided to see how much room there would be after the kit arrived.  There wasn’t enough room so I decided I would wait.

Now that I have used a lot of material from the bench storage area, there was enough room for a plans drawer. Here it is. (It would have been a lot easier to put it in from the start!

        I also made a new jig to help cut the pieces on the next few pages. My compound saw lets me cut from 90° to 40° in either direction. The jig allows me to cut angles less than 40° up to 8” long. I have a really nice non-ferrous metal cutting blade in the saw and it has worked great on all the angle stock.
