Then it was just time to do the work.  In the first picture we have finished the turtle deck.  As an additional test, I did the small section between the two test areas ten times, but I included the adjacent test areas. This meant we now had sections that had 15 and 20 passes.  Both are incrementally better and maybe in a few years I will get the whole plane up to 20 F9 passes.  It really takes a lot to smooth out the mill finish.

The second picture shows the complete left side of the aft fuselage all done, including additional passes of the previously polished tail surfaces.  Pictures three and four show the before and after of the forward fuselage section.  Much  more to go.
