Next up I outfitted and trained my volunteer helper.  Kathy saw the mess from my trial polishing a few years ago and was well informed about the hard work required.  She’s a champ and will be giving me a few spare days from here busy schedule.

The second and third pictures show the results of our training and tests.  I did the most forward section and she did the rear section.  We did our whole area five times and then did the left half portion of our areas another five times all with Nuvite F9.  Although the five passes looks nice, ten passes are much better.  I had hoped the margin would be closer and we would go with just five passes, but even Kathy agreed it should be ten (for the surfaces visible standing by the plane).

The last picture shows the method we used to keep count of our passes.  We put a little dot of polish outside of the area when we applied polish.  It worked really well.
