The next day as I did a good evaluation of all the pieces it was obvious that I had done an overall marginal job. If you look at the larger size version of the first picture, you can see that the blending of the light support blister with the wing tip is very poor quality.  This was a real surprise as I followed the same sanding procedures that I used on the pants seams which show no evidence of this kind of poor blending. The running gloss coat and the poor surface prep do not look very nice.

The nose pant has issues with the color coat. While it appears I had no issue getting the primer and the gloss coats on all the surfaces evenly, the color coat is a different story. It clearly has a two toned effect on the left side and around the gear leg hole. This was a result of the way I choose to paint it on the plane. I may decide to redo these pieces but for now I’m just going to move ahead.
