Moments after I finished the gloss coat however I saw that I had gotten the gloss coats too heavy and they had started to run.  This is visible in the first two pictures.  The painting I did on the wheel pants seemed to be a little light on the gloss coat and there where no runs. After the first coat of gloss on these pieces, I decided I could go just a little heavier on the second coat of gloss.  I went too far however. Turned into another learning experience.
