I’ve seem discussion on the Sonex yahoo group that people have had a hard time fitting the hinge pin in from the fuselage through the fairing and into the wheel pant. Mostly that has been in regards to the tail dragger, and it does look pretty difficult as the hole is way under the tank. For the trike, access is much easier and I had no problems once the fairing was fitted. To do that was a little hard. Using a good heavy duty tape to hold the fairing closed and in place while I measured what to trim was a big help. The last two pictures show the hole drilled in the wheel pant and the pin installed.
