I fitted the baffle pieces to get a non-interference fit with both of the cowling halves, as shown in the first two pictures.  The third picture shows the installed exhaust pipes and untrimmed extension pieces.  In the last picture the cowl has been put back on and no pieces touch it.

The next step is to trim the pieces back a uniform amount and install the baffle seal pieces. These pieces will make a high pressure plenum area on the top of the engine, forcing all of the cooling air to exit through the cooling fins. The air will also expand during the passage giving additional cooling.
