I made sure the canopy frame was all back in position while I got the garage back up to temperature and then set the canopy on the airframe for awhile as it got heat soaked. Then it was time to start trimming. I made no changes to the cutting down with the band saw process.  My now experienced helper held the canopy while I cut on the band saw.  After every cut I sanded down the edges nice and smooth.  Like before, we made a total of eight cuts on the band saw. Four to the outside of the tape lines the factory puts on and then the four to the tape lines I put on.

After that it was all hand work. The middle two pictures show the canopy nearly complete. Only minor sanding remained.  The last two pictures are of the first canopy but the technique was the same.  I worked on the canopy on the table just as you see it and used a series of sandpapers to rough cut and then smooth.  These processes were just like those described in the Sonex video on cutting down the canopy. They worked well and I have full confidence in these procedures.
