Speaking of the fuel valve, these first two pictures show the valve with a Bob (the idea man) Mika inspired design.  Bob ran a rod from his panel to a piece of metal attached to the valve control arm so he could shut off the fuel without having to reach under the panel or use his foot.  My attachment fitting differs only in a small way. I only put a 45° angle in the cut out stock instead of Bob’s 90° angle. The bottom pictures show how a rod will fit to push and pull the valve open and closed.
