Then I gave the tank a good cleaning inside and out with mineral spirits.

The bottom two pictures show a 90° pipe to tube fitting for the vent line.  I first installed it to see where it would stop when tight. I needed it to rotate another 180°.  No problem with my new set of dies.  Since these are tapered, all I had to do was use my die, some cutting fluid and cut it a little deeper.  I installed it after checking the new location and it points exactly where I want it.

The second picture shows the tank with all the fittings installed.
