The expanding wire bundle is shown in these pictures coming up the sidewall and under the panel to merge with the main wire bundle.
In the first picture, I am charging the back up battery. What is interesting is the GIZMO in the picture. This is a homebrewed power distribution system for my computerized GOTO telescope. It can take various power inputs and output to several 12v instruments. It can charge two 17 AHr batteries from AC power. The black plastic cord wrap around the vertical wire bundle was donated to the airplane from the GIZMO.
