OK, so here are the pictures I promised.  Getting here was hard work but this looks like a major aircraft component.

    These shots are all of the vertical stabilizer with the rudder attached.

    Just before these shots were taken, I added the final piece to the vertical stabilizer. It is the hinge that holds the rudder.  It is held in place by the bronze clecos.

    Like all three of the previous hinges it is hard to get on and make sure it is straight. It was slow careful work with minor adjustments required during the enlarging of the mating holes to the final size.
