In the last post I had finally positioned all the firewall items in their final positions.  I still had some holes to drill but first I had to play with the new mixture cable.  I love the cable, nice push button friction lock, but I don’t like how it fits on the quadrant.  It can be worked real easily with the right hand but it is too close to the throttle arm plate to work easily with the left hand.  I do have a solution in mind as I was expecting this, but that’s for later. Now back to drilling more holes in stainless.

      In the first picture below, you can see three pilot holes where the wire bundle, throttle cable and mixture cable holes will be drilled. They are done in the second picture.
